How to sun transfer printed steel plates
Pad printing steel plate is a consumable material used in special printing pad printing machines. Pad printing steel plates include chromium steel, K460 steel, bearing steel, spring steel, and other materials. If it needs to be used during transfer printing, it also needs to be processed once, that is, the content that needs to be transferred is etched onto the steel plate through processes such as applying photoresist, exposure, development, corrosion, etc.
How to sun transfer printed steel plates
Step 1: Clean the steel plate (use water and all cleaning tools to clean the plate, then blow dry with an air gun).
Secondly, after applying the photosensitive paste (pay attention to the even flow of the photosensitive paste and avoid dust falling), place it in a dark compartment to avoid contact with natural light and let it dry naturally.
Thirdly, vacuum should be applied to ensure full contact between the board and the film, avoiding large tolerances caused by light refraction during the next exposure process.
Fourth: Exposure. (Note that the exposure time is generally controlled between 45-60 seconds, depending on the photosensitive paste and pattern, to control the exposure time).
Fifth, developing (using developing water to visualize the desired pattern).
Sixth: Repair. First, dye the board blue with blue water, and then you can clearly see the defective parts on the board. Finally, check whether the pattern is a good product under a magnifying glass.
Seventh: Etching. Control the depth of the printing plate based on your environment, temperature, concentration of etching water, and material of the board.
Suggest conducting more experiments! You can grasp the etching depth. It's best to do it in a constant temperature environment!
