Overview of the principle and ink scraping system of oil cup transfer printing machine
Introduction and principle of sealed oil cup:
The sealed oil cup combines the functions of oil tank and scraper to develop a more complete ink scraping system for pad printing machines. As early as the early 1980s, it was introduced to the Chinese market from Germany.
Sealed oil cup combination
1. Oil Cup (Dongguan Lifu Printing Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. has developed various types of ink cup scraping systems for transfer printing machines. The ink cup scraping blades developed by the company have better performance than German products and have been popular in the US, Europe, and Southeast Asian markets for many years. They are cost-effective products of the same type in China.)
2. Transfer printing ink cup (transfer printing oil cup) ceramic ring knife, tungsten steel ring knife (produced by LiFu professional manufacturing)
2. Ink
3. Printing board (oil cup thin steel plate and thick plate, nylon plate. The oil cup provided by Lifu Company uses German imported machine structures from single and two-color transfer printing machines to multi-color transfer printing machines, with excellent performance.)
Operating principle
A sealed oil cup is a cup-shaped object with a hollow interior and a carefully ground tip; Ink can be stored in the cup body and sealed between the oil cup and the printing plate, so the thinning water in the ink will not evaporate in the air, and the concentration of the ink can be maintained stable. When the oil cup moves forward, the ink is carried into the etched pattern, and when the oil cup returns, it scrapes off the ink on the printing surface like a scraper.
The advantages of using an oil cup: 1. Ink is isolated from air, and dust particles in the air cannot stick to the ink.
2. The degree of evaporation of oil and water is reduced to a low level.
3. Avoid air pollution caused by the evaporation of oil and water.
4. It can operate continuously for four to six hours without adding oil or water.
5. Solve the common problem of ink being too thin or too thick in open oil pans.
6. Save 40% of ink and 80% of oil-water.
7. Stable ink concentration ensures printing quality.
8. Used oil can be stored in an oil cup and may be reused after several months, unlike an open oil basin that needs to be cleaned every time it is used, which wastes ink.
Sealed oil cups can be appropriately applied to various types of transfer printing. The diameter of the oil cup should be slightly larger than the width of the printed pattern by 10 millimeters, and the length of the pattern is not a problem. According to new analysis data, over 80% of European pad printing machine customers choose sealed oil cups, 50% in North America, and 5-10% in Asia; The rate of using oil pans to switch to oil cups is rapidly increasing, with over 50% of the transfer printing machines shipped from Hong Kong daily being equipped with oil cups, and the number is increasing day by day.
