Printing steel plate production technology

10 Dec, 2024 3:13pm

Drying techniques for transfer printing steel plates

1. Prepare new or polished steel plates and keep the surface clean.

2. Apply a layer of photosensitive paste evenly on the front of the steel plate.

3. Stick the film plate onto the steel plate and expose it.

4. After exposure, rinse with sodium carbonate solution until the steel plate in the unexposed area is exposed.

5. Then corrode with dilute nitric acid or dilute sulfuric acid to a certain depth.

6. Finally, dry the steel plate.

Steel plate corrosion process flow

1. Pre inspection: Take out the steel plate, wipe off the oil stains and observe.

2. Cleaning: Use a rag dipped in Tian Na water to clean the surface of the steel plate.

3. Coating: Pour photosensitive paste evenly onto the surface of the steel plate and shake dry in a centrifuge.

4. Pre drying: Dry in an oven at around 45 ℃ for 10 minutes, and in emergency situations, use a hair dryer to blow for about 1 minute.

5. Check the film: Check the film to be sun dried, and if necessary, use a clean cloth dipped in water to wipe off surface impurities.

6. Exposure: Apply the film to the position requested by the customer and press it firmly with your fingers.

7. Development: Pour developing water onto the pattern of the steel plate and rinse with water for 30 seconds. If the pattern is blurry, repeatedly pour developing solution and rinse with water, and shorten the time accordingly until the pattern is clear.

8. Drying: Dry in the oven for 10 minutes, and in case of emergency, use a hair dryer to blow.

9. Revision: Use a needle stick dipped in photosensitive paste to repair the sanding on the surface, and a magnifying glass is required for fine pattern revision.

10. Drying: Place the repaired version in a 40 ℃ oven and dry for 10 minutes or blow dry with a hair dryer.

11. Sequential inspection: Use a magnifying glass to check the development and repair of the plate.

12. Glue: Use cowhide glue to seal the non patterned parts of the steel plate.

13. Corrosion: Use a brush with an area roughly equal to the pattern to evenly apply 50% nitric acid solution, and the time depends on the required depth, about 40-70 seconds.

14. Cleaning: Immediately rinse with water after corrosion is complete.

15. Remove the adhesive: Use a cloth dipped in Tian Na water to wipe off the surface photosensitive adhesive.

16. Final inspection: Refer to the "Specification for Inspection of Finished Accessories (Steel Version)".

17. Packaging: Place the qualified steel plate into a plastic bag, spray it with oil, seal it, and affix a qualified label.
